Group Golf and code of conduct policy

Poplar Ridge golf course requires a pre-authorized damage deposit of $500 for any groups of 12 or more or as determined by the management of the course. A pre-authorization will be taken on a credit card and cancelled after play is complete, subject to any charges for loss or damage to the golf course or equipment caused by any member of the group and/or charges for payment of green fees and/or cart rentals not otherwise paid for prior to play of the group.

Code of Conduct

Please note that the privilege of any individual to utilize Poplar Ridge Golf Course may be denied, suspended or terminated by management if the Code of Conduct is violated or if any individual or party disrupts the operation of the facility or creates a disturbance or damage to the detriment of the course, operations, staff, or other golfers.

All golfers and/or visitors at Poplar Ridge Golf Course are expected to:

  • Conduct themselves in a way that is free of discriminatory or harassing behavior to fellow golfers, visitors or staff.

  • Respect the family-friendly atmosphere promoted at the course and refrain from using obscenities, excessively loud or otherwise inappropriate behavior.

  • Observe proper etiquette on the golf course and when present at any portion of the facility. A maximum of 4 golfers per group.

  • Follow the posted dress code.

  • Comply with all posted facility rules.

  • Respect the private properties that abut the golf course and not trespass onto private property.

Additionally, golfers and golf group organizers acknowledge and agree that:

  • Any damage to rental carts, clubs or facilities, will be the financial responsibility of the person who has caused such damage but the course may also charge the preauthorized credit card pledged on behalf of the group for reimbursement of such loss or damage.

  • Only alcoholic beverages purchased at the facility are permitted on the premises and privately-owned coolers are not permitted on the premises.
